UP Police SI ASI Exam Pattern 2024:
- Online Written Test
Those candidates whose applications are found correct will be expected to appear in an online written examination of 400 marks, which will have a total of 200 questions and the time duration will be 2.30 hours. This written examination will have an objective type question paper on the following four subjects:-

- Candidates who fail to obtain 35 percent (normalized) marks in each subject and 40 percent (normalized) marks in total in the written examination will not be eligible for recruitment. Through computer based written examination system, the written examination will be conducted on the same date in a single
shift or in more than one shift or on more than one date in different shifts with different question papers. - In case the written examination is conducted in more than one shift or on more than one date with different question papers in different shifts, the Board will conduct “Normalization Process” for normalization of marks obtained by the candidates appearing in such examinations. The procedure prescribed in the information/release number PRPB One 1 (155)/ 2023 dated 18.12.2023 will be adopted.
- After the written examination, the answer key will be published by the board and objections will be invited from the candidates regarding the questions and answer options on which the candidates can submit their objections online. If any question or its answer options are found to be erroneous, then such questions will be canceled and the distribution of marks of those canceled questions will be done in the Honorable High Court of Allahabad in Writ Petition No. 2669 (MB) / 2009 Pawan Kumar Agrahari vs. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. According to the established system, this will be done as per the following formula.
