UP National Income and Merit Based Scholarship Test 2024 Eligibility:
- The candidate must be a regular student in Class 8 from a recognized school in Uttar Pradesh.
- The student must have secured at least 55% marks in Class 7 exams (50% for SC/ST candidates).
- The annual family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 3.5 lakhs from all sources.
Instructions for appearing in the UP NMMS Scholarship Exam:
- Download the admit card and keep a copy of it with you.
- Be sure to reach the examination center half an hour before the start of the examination and take the place allotted for your roll number.
- Do not carry a calculator, mathematical table or any other ready-reckoner to the examination hall.
- The examination will be conducted in two parts in one session – (l) First part: General Mental Ability Test – which will have 90 multiple choice questions. (ll) Second part: Educational Aptitude Test – which will have 90 multiple choice questions (35 Science, 35 Social Science and 20 Mathematics questions).
- The time allotted for the first part is 90 minutes (120 minutes for physically challenged candidates) and for the second part is 90 minutes (120 minutes for physically challenged candidates).
- 1 mark is allotted for each question. There is no negative marking.
- The roll number given in the admit card must be written at the designated place on the answer sheet.
- You must not write your name on any part of the answer sheet or question booklet.
- Use only blue and black ball point pens to answer. Answers must be marked as per the instructions on the question paper.
- It will be mandatory to follow the instructions given by the room inspector.

- Applications will be accepted online only. Applications will not be accepted through any other medium except online application!
- Date and time of examination – 10 November 2024 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am (For physically challenged candidates from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon)
- Along with the application form, income certificate issued by the Tehsildar, caste certificate as per requirement (Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class). It is mandatory for the dependents of freedom fighters and physically challenged candidates to upload the reservation related certificate. This certificate must be issued by the competent authority on the prescribed format, if the candidates of reserved caste category do not upload their caste certificate and the dependents of freedom fighters and physically challenged candidates do not upload their reservation related certificate, then they will be considered as general candidates in this examination, the entire responsibility of which will be of the candidate himself. The candidate will have to upload his own certificate.
- The certificate of physically challenged candidates should be issued by a committee of three experts (one of whom is an expert in the concerned disease). This certificate must be countersigned by the CMO of the district. If the percentage of disability is less than 40%, the concerned person will not be entitled to the benefit!
- After the completion of the examination, the answer sheet will have to be submitted to the room inspector.
- After the completion of the examination, the question paper will be given to the candidate.
