The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official syllabus for the CSIR UGC NET 2026 exam. This exam determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and research institutes. CSIR UGC NET Exam Pattern 2026:

The Test will consist of three parts. All the parts will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions. There will be no break between papers. The subject-wise scheme of examination is as per details below:

3. Life Sciences:-

  • Physiology (plant & animal)

4. Mathematical Sciences

  • Algebra, real & complex analysis
  • Differential equations
  • Probability, statistics, and numerical methods
  • Mechanics and mathematical modeling

5. Physical Sciences

  • Quantum mechanics, electromagnetism
