Hindi

• Graduation with 45% marks in the case of General category candidates and 40%o marks in the case of SC, ST, OBC, BC and PH candidates.

• B.Ed with Hindi as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of University Grants Commission.

Social Studies 

• Graduation with 45% marks in the case of General category candidates and 40%o marks in the case of SC, ST, OBC, BC, PH candidates.

• B.Ed. with Social Science as one of the teaching subject as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission.

Panjabi

• Graduation with 45% marks in the case of General category candidates and 40%o marks in the case of SC, ST, OBC, BC, PH candidates.

• B.Ed. with Punjabi as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of University Grants Commission.

Maths

• Graduation with 45% marks in the case of General category candidates and 40%o marks in the case of SC, ST, OBC, BC, PH candidates.

• B.Ed. with Mathematics as one of the teaching subjects as per guidelines of University Grants Commission.

Science 

• Graduation with 45% marks in the case of General category candidates and 40%o marks in the case of SC, ST, OBC, BC, PH candidates.

  b). Science (Medical)

• B.Sc. with 45% marks in the case of General Category candidates and 40% marks in the case of SC, ST, OBC, BC & PH candidates.

English

• Graduation with minimum 45% marks in the case of the persons from the General category; and

• with minimum 40% marks in the case of the persons from the SC, ST, OBC, BC and Physically Handicapped category and should have studied English as an elective subject for a period of three years; or or Should have studied Functional English, English Literature, B.A. Honours (English), B.A. (Honours) English in Graduation; or its equivalent; or Should have passed Post Graduation in English; and

• B.Ed. from a recognized university or institution with English as one of the teaching subjects as per University Grants Commission guidelines.
